Sheila comes to us from Southern California, born and raised in the Los Angeles Area.  A single parent of many years of one daughter, found herself in a drug addition and in need of help at the age of 50.  After receiving the phone number from her daughter entered the doors of Teen Challenge on November 10, 2005.

     Life as I new it would never be the same.  I completed the one year program in 2006; and after doing an intership at the Tri-County facility in Ventura California headed to the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute in South Gate.  There I learned more about helping others.  By this time I realized I wanted to help others receive the joy I have found through knowing and receiving Christ as my savior.  I graduated T.C.M.I. in June, 2008 and accepted a position at Redwood Teen Challenge as a staff member, following God's lead to a new area and a new way of life.

     Three years later I'm still here!   After three years at the woman's home, I now work in the administrative offices using the skills I learned before Teen Challenge to further God's Kingdom. During this time I found the man of my dreams, who I married last year.  Together my husband and I have three daughters, and eight grandchildren, life is good!
